I think we have a lot of work to do, we have a lot more Championships to win together.”
Christian Horner, the team principal, emphasized the importance of continuity and stability by confirming Perez’s presence for the 2025 season. Perez joined Red Bull in 2021 and has clinched five victories with the team, along with one win for Racing Point in 2020.
The contract extension means Perez will also be driving under the new rules set to be introduced in 2026, which will see cars relying more on the electric component of their hybrid systems.
