Europe and Canada to receive updates for 2025 Polestar 2

The 2025 Polestar 2 is set to receive updates for Europe and Canada first, with changes planned for other markets in the near future. These updates aim to align the Polestar 2’s features with the newer models in the lineup, such as the Polestar 3 and 4. One notable change is the introduction of a new 70-kWh battery from CATL, which increases the range of the Standard Range Single Motor trim by five miles to 344 miles on the WLTP cycle in Europe. The Long Range Single Motor variant also sees a range improvement to 410 miles.

In terms of color options, two silver-colored hues have been replaced with new options. The Magnesium hue has been replaced by Vapour, while the Thunder hue has been substituted with Storm, a slightly darker silver shade.

The wheel menu now includes a 19-inch Aero wheel as standard, with the option to upgrade to a 20-inch Pro wheel in silver or graphite with the Pro Pack.

Additionally, the options menu now features five Packs, including the Pilot, Plus, Performance, Climate, and Pro Packs. The Climate Pack includes a more efficient heat pump, heated steering wheel, rear seats, and windshield washers. The Pro Pack adds 20-inch wheels, Swedish gold accents, and a Swedish Gold stripe on the seat belts.

Polestar has also partnered with Bridge of Weir leather to offer Charcoal Nappa leather hides that are certified to be cruelty-free, catering to consumer demands for ethical products.
